TD Bank names Cook as small business specialist for the greater Maine region

HOULTON, Maine — TD Bank has promoted Margaret Cook to small business specialist for the greater Maine region. She will be responsible for leading the small business efforts for TD Bank’s retail stores across a region that includes stores from Gray to Fort Kent.

Cook has 22 years of banking experience. She joined TD Bank at the Houlton location in 2004 as a financial services representative where she excelled in her role for 13 years. Cook was promoted to assistant store manager in Houlton in 2017, and most recently to her new role as small business specialist.

Cook is originally from County Lakes, New Jersey where she was raised by her parents Patricia and Terry Ringler. Terry Ringler is a retired veteran serving in the Army and Federal Government for 45 years.

Cook began her career in banking at Freedom Federal  Credit Union in Edgewood, Maryland where she was employed for two years. Cook then moved to Baumholder, Germany and worked for Bank of America’s Overseas Division for five years before moving to northern Maine in 2004.

Cook is a resident of Monticello where she lives with her husband Timothy, a retired US Army veteran with 20 years of service, and their two sons, Justin, who is a junior at Houlton High School and Jeremy, a sophomore at UMPI.
