HOULTON, Maine — Essential workers, including local businesses, police and hospital workers, were treated Thursday, April 30, to free coffee and doughnuts.

“We thought we would show our appreciation to all businesses that have been open during this pandemic,” explained Lisa MacDonald, senior general manager for the Houlton Dunkin. “It is just a small token of our appreciation.”

The Houlton event was just one of several planned at each of the nine franchise locations owned by Micheal Ouimet and also included a visit by “Cuppy” the Dunkin mascot at the various stops in Houlton.

Ouimet owns Dunkin franchises in Houlton, Caribou, Presque Isle, Millinocket, Rockland, Rockport, Waldoboro and Damariscotta.
