To the editor:

Black Lives Matter — how deceptive, how divisive. BLM, the organization, has precious little to do with valuing or protecting Black lives. Rudy Guiliani has said he believes the group to be a Marxist organization.

On their very own webpage it’s stated that part of their intent is to “dismantle the nuclear family.”

When the George Floyd incident happened all of America was horrified to watch the public murder by police. America was unified, including law enforcement. We supported the peaceful protesters.

The BLM organization saw this opportunity to turn those peaceful protests into destructive riots, aided directly by the domestic terrorist group Antifa. Riots are still going on two months later in over 20 major cities, including Los Angeles, Portland, New York City, Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit and Minneapolis. Every single one of those cities has radical left Democrats as mayors who have done almost nothing to stop the riots and, in some cases, have encouraged them. Why?

In these same cities, crime has skyrocketed, especially Black on Black crime. Chicago had over 1,900 people shot in the first six months of this year alone. New York City passed a no-bail law. Police arrest rioters only to see them released an hour later. These cities now want to defund police.

Why are they doing things so obviously insane? Their hope is that Americans will see this violence and blame Trump in November, when, in fact, he cannot by law do anything about this violence unless asked by these mayors.

Ninety percent of these shootings and deaths involve Blacks. If Black lives mattered to the Democrats they’d be stopping the riots and crime, not embracing it. Trump does care, a lot. He wants to stop this insanity.

Bottom line, this November if you want more of this chaos and lawlessness, vote in Democrats. The far left radical Democrats have total control and will vote as a block against law and order. If you want police to be there when you need them, vote Republicans in so they can support the president in the fight for our country, including Black lives.
