PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Nomination papers for Presque Isle City Council and SAD 1 school board seats are still available at the office of the city clerk, Presque Isle City Hall, 12 Second St.
The deadline to return nomination papers is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, with elections to be held Nov. 3.
There are two city council seats up for election, each with a four-year term.
SAD 1 seats are three-year terms. There will be two seats up for election: District 5 Presque Isle, currently held by Robert Cawley, and District 9 Presque Isle, currently held by Lori Kenneson.
