Woodland man arrested on charges of burglary, theft, criminal mischief

CARIBOU, Maine — Caribou Police Department arrested Aaron Dodd, 26, of Woodland on Aug. 28 and charged him with Class B burglary, Class C theft, Class C aggravated criminal mischief and Class E violation of conditional release.

Dodd is being charged in connection with a stolen motor vehicle, burglary of vehicles and thefts from Aug. 23, in addition to burglary, aggravated criminal mischief and theft at two Bennett Drive businesses on Aug. 28, according to Caribou Police Chief Michael Gahagan.

Gahagan said additional charges may follow pending investigation, which is being conducted by officers Kyle Scott, Gerard Lemoine, Amanda Baker and Doug Bell.

Police posted a photo of several tools that were recovered after Dodd’s arrest.

Caribou police were assisted by the Maine Warden Service and the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office in arresting Dodd.

Dodd’s court date is scheduled for Nov. 5.
