To the editor:
I would like to thank all first responders and our heroes in hospitals, children’s hospitals and nursing homes, especially at [Northern Light A.R. Gould] hospital.
I have stage 4 multiple myeloma cancer. I want to give a heartfelt “Thank you” to Dr. Choudary, Dr. Hechtman, Jess, Bob, Joshua, Deirdre, Debbie and staff at the oncology and radiation wing for the love, care and support. Through my darkest hours, you were my shining knights. I at times was discouraged. You gave me the strength and spirit to go on living.
For that I am truly thankful. You are the heroes in my life. May God bless you and [your] loved ones.
