WASHBURN, Maine — Principal Larry Worcester, along with the staff of Washburn District High School, recently announced Liddia Collins and Arianna Elliott as co-Students of the Month for April.

Both seniors recently graduated.

Collins is the daughter of David and Dawn Collins.

She was described by Ms. Jones as “So thoughtful.  Her writing in English shows how kind-hearted and family oriented she is.”

Liddia has been a member of Civil Rights, the National Honor Society and the GT Visual Arts Program.

Elliott is the daughter of James and Hannah Elliott.

Ms. Jones commented on how brilliant she is: “She’ll make a great educator of young minds someday when she shares that knowledge and passion of hers.”

In her free time, Arianna could often be found in the art room teaching herself new techniques.  She has been a member of Civil Rights and the GT Visual Arts Program, as well as the school’s softball team.

Of both girls Mrs. Hemphill stated, “They are pleasant young ladies who are joys to have in class.”
