HOULTON, Maine — Katahdin Trust Company is pleased to announce that Katie Hill, vice president, bank operations manager, has been named one of the “Mainebiz Next Up: 40 Under 40” honorees for 2022.
The Next Up: 40 Under 40, (formerly Next List) has been presented annually by Mainebiz since 2013. This year’s honorees are from diverse industries, backgrounds, and various parts of the state. This award recognizes outstanding young leaders who are shaking up Maine’s business community and will lead the state’s economy into the future.
“Everyone who works at Katahdin Trust has probably been assisted by Katie at some point,” said Matt Nightingale, executive vice president and CFO of Katahdin Trust. “She is very knowledgeable and is an incredible problem solver. It’s great to see her hard work be recognized by her peers and I am very proud that she has been chosen as a Mainebiz 40 Under 40 honoree.”
Hill began her career at Katahdin Trust in 2003 at the Houlton branch and served multiple positions, including teller, branch service representative, and customer service representative. In 2012 she joined the Operations Department as operations supervisor and was later promoted to Assistant vice president, bank operations manager. In 2019 Hill was promoted to her current role as vice president, bank operations manager.
Hill believes in giving back and is an active member in her community. She has been a Houlton Rotarian since 2014 and served as president of the club for the 2020-21 Rotary year.
