200th baby born of 2024 at Cary Medical Center

CARIBOU, Maine – A family from Madawaska welcomed a baby girl and this baby represented the 200th delivery at Cary Medical Center for 2024.

Avery Jean was born on Wednesday, November 27 at 11:29 p.m. to Alyssa Belanger and Niko Bouchard. Avery weighed 6 pounds and was 19 inches long. She was delivered by Mariah Cyr, RN MSN, CNM. Avery has a big sister, Nevaeh, who is three.

As the 200th baby born this year, Avery and her parents received some very special gifts from the Cary Medical Center & Pines Health Services teams. Presenting Avery with her basket of gifts were Kris Doody, RN & CEO; Jennifer Plante, RN, chief nursing officer; Samantha Fox, RN; Susan Miller, LPN; Mariah Cyr, CNM; Rebecca Knights, RN; and Casey Harpine, RN.
