Northern Maine Moose fall at Maranacook

READFIELD — The Northern Maine Moose boys lacrosse team took a loss to the seasoned Maranacook squad 15-3 on May 5.

Isaiah Ervin led the Moose with two goals and an assist. Eli Brown, a player from Presque Isle, scored the other goal. Landon McGary of Hodgdon assisted to Ervin.

“Unfortunately the little things add up when you play against a team like this,” said coach Simoes. “We did not allow ourselves to get into a rhythm. The score was high today but with four games in six days this week we made a gametime decision to change our personnel to save our legs. This also allows players to gain some experience. The schedule is our enemy this week. We will play Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.”

The Player of the Game is Carter Smith with 14 saves in goal.
