The Aroostook Men’s Baseball League will be returning for its fifth season in 2025!
We are overhauling some aspects of the league with hopes to maximize the parity of the league and give both new and returning players an enjoyable summer of quality baseball!
The biggest change is that we will be shaking up the teams. The league will be providing uniform tops and hats for all participants, as well as a 12-game schedule plus playoffs for top-performing teams. There will be a $100 participation fee per individual.
Returning players: Please notify the league or your coach from the previous year if you are planning on returning by May 23 (before the skills days). You can also fill out the Google form that will be pinned to our feed on Facebook.
New players: We are planning skills days on Saturday, May 24 at 10 a.m. and Sunday, May 25 at 2 p.m. Please attempt to show up on one of the days. Your player fee can be collected there (If you absolutely can not make this date please contact the league beforehand). Feel free to also fill out the Google form as well.
Upon completing the skills days for new players the league reps will be determining the rosters and they will be released in early June.
Games will start in the third week of June, with the regular season finishing in the last week of July and playoffs wrapping up in the second week of August.
The schedule is also looking a little different from the last few years and we are pleased to unveil its new look. Notably, we will be using three weeknights a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) as well as two Sunday afternoon games. No one will play doubleheaders on Sundays, as every Sunday will feature four different teams to ensure fairness.
The other spare days will be used as rain makeup dates.
We are very excited for another great summer of baseball, and hope you all are too!
Teams will be drafted prior to the season, if people are interested in playing please contact the league to sign up before May 25. Anyone going into their junior year of high school or up is eligible to play.
