FORT KENT, Maine — Fort Kent Community High School tennis hosted Houlton High School on May 27.
The Fort Kent boys won 5-0. The second doubles pair of Wyatt Daigle and Sawyer Daigle won 8-5 against Steven Hannigan and Dayton Shields. First doubles Quinn Michaud and Finley Marquis won 8-6 against Miles Berthiume and Jacob Thibodeau. Third singles player Mason Pelletier won against Jaeden Wu, Second singles Connor Voisine won against Cole Watson 8-3 and first singles Alex Carlstrom won against William Baillageon 8-2.
The Houlton girls won 3-2. Fort Kent’s second doubles team of Abigail Boucher and Ally Fournier won 8-3 to Hannah Flewelling and Anna Johnson. The Warriors’ first doubles Madeleine Martin and Emma Cyr lost 8-2 to Kealy Britton and Morgan Nuccia. Fort Kent third singles Haidyn Saucier lost 8-1 to Brooklyn Philbrook. Warrior second singles Addison Chasse won 8-6 to Karyssa Kinney. Fort Kent first singles Lanie Pelletier lost in a tiebreak 4-7 against Ryan Perfitt.
