FORT KENT, Maine – The fourth-seeded Fort Kent boys tennis team defeated No. 5 Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln 4-1 in a Class C North quarterfinal on June 3. The Warriors then faced top seed Orono High School in a June 4 semifinal, falling 5-0.
Against Mattanawcook Fort Kent’s second doubles team of James Wilson and Wyatt Daigle lost with scores of 3-6, 6-3, 5-7. First doubles pair Quinn Michaud and Finley Marquis won with scores of 6-2, 6-4. Third singles Mason Pelletier won 6-1, 6-1, Second singles Connor Voisine won 6-2, 4-6, 6-2. First singles won with a score of 6-3, 6-3.
