Partnership with Katahdin Trust Company continues for Annual Cary Classic Benefit Golf Tournament

CARIBOU, Maine — Katahdin Trust Company is the Major Corporate Sponsor for the Annual Cary Classic Benefit Golf Tournament. This year’s 41st Annual Cary Classic will be held on Saturday, July 12 at the Caribou Country Club, with tournament proceeds to benefit patient care, renovation and new equipment and technology at Cary Medical Center.

The tournament is organized by the Jefferson Cary Foundation at Cary Medical Center. Chelsey Anderson, executive director of the Jefferson Cary Foundation, says she is humbled by the partnership between Katahdin Trust and the Cary Classic. 

“We are incredibly fortunate to have a partner like Katahdin Trust Company. For more than a decade we have been able to depend on them to support our fundraiser, and contribute to vital care areas in our community’s hospital, right here at home,” she said.

“Katahdin Trust Company is a proud sponsor of the Cary Classic. It’s truly a privilege to partner with the Foundation,” said Craig Staples, vice president, commercial services officer and municipal services of Katahdin Trust. “The Cary Classic is a great fundraiser, and it’s an honor to have helped raise funds for various projects at Cary Medical Center for more than a decade. We look forward to the tournament next month.”

The one day tournament will feature five men’s divisions, including a senior division, two ladies’ divisions and a juniors’ division. The tournament will feature a $25,000 hole in one competition, among other prizes, and host a silent auction and food truck with vouchers to all tournament participants.
