FORT KENT, Maine — The Fort Kent girls hosted the Houlton Shires (0-1) in the Warriors’ home opener on Sept. 2. Fort Kent led 4-1 at halftime with goals by Reese Doucette (two) Madeleine Martin and Leah Hebert.
The Warriors (2-0) finished off the second half by adding five more goals and ending the game at 60 minutes. Madeleine Martin (three) Reese Doucette and Tily Daigle were second-half goal scorers. Players with assists for the game were Emlyn Nadeau, Emma Cyr, Leah Hebert, Madeleine Martin and Tily Daigle. The final score was 9-1.
