Central Aroostook Association announces canoe raffle winner

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Central Aroostook Association is excited to announce that the winner of the 1983 17-foot canoe, donated and beautifully refurbished by Russell Mount, is Charlotte Chapman. The winning ticket was drawn during the recent Human Foosball Championship at the Northern Maine Fairgrounds.

Thanks to the generosity of Mount and all who purchased tickets, the raffle raised

$1,245 in support of Central Aroostook Association’s Adult Services. These funds help provide individualized support to adults that promote safety, independence and community inclusion.

Adult services offer both facility and community based activities designed to foster skill development, self-advocacy, relationship building and greater independence. Participants explore areas such as cooking, communication, the arts, work readiness and daily living skills while also giving back through volunteer work at local organizations.

We are deeply grateful for the community’s continued support in helping us make a difference.
