The Stockholm Historical Society and Museum held their fourth annual open house on Sunday.
The museum, located on the corner of Lake and Main Streets in Stockholm was the venue for the annual open house, where Stockholm residents, as well as out-of-town visitors came to reminisce and enjoy refreshments and cookies.
New at the museum this year was a video display of balloon rides given by the late Gordon Anderson, the Anderson Store display with a butcher block and scales and two early 1950’s dollhouses, complete with full houses of furniture and miniature people.
The Historical Society also had several artifacts and photos noted with small Acadian flags in recognition of the recently held Acadian World Congress.
