Geraldine B. Corey

Corey, Geraldine B., 94, died February 11, 2007 at a Presque Isle hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2007 at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.     Presque Isle – Geraldine B. Corey, 94, died February 11, 2007 at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born February 5, 1913 in Westfield, the daughter of Clifford and Minnie (Rideout) Bolster.
    Geraldine was an active member of the Pine Tree Baptist Church in Easton. She had been employed at W.T. Grants in Presque Isle for many years and was known as the “candy lady” by many that shopped there. Geraldine enjoyed volunteering her time and talents with the Aroostook Area Agency on Aging, R.S.V.P. and was a member of the Rose Club and the Red Hat Society. She was known for her quick wit and her love of fishing.
    Surviving her is a son Gary Corey of Colorado; daughters Patricia A. Fitzherbert of Easton and Paulette J. Garrison of Presque Isle; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, Feb. 16th, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with Pastor Carlos daCruz officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. A spring interment will be in the Estes Park Cemetery in Easton.
