Plissey, James W. Jr., 68, died March 19, 2007 at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor.
WASHBURN – James W. Plissey, Jr., 68, passed away at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor, March 19, 2007, after a brief illness, with his sister and brother-in-law by his side. Jamie was born July 27, 1938, in Washburn the son of James Sr. and Adeline (Churchill) Plissey. He attended Washburn High School, and he worked for area farmers for many years.
Jamie is survived by one son, Randy James Plissey of Washburn, a grandson, Ryan Moulton of New Brunswick, Canada, his sister and brother-in-law, Velva (Plissey) and George Doody of Washburn, his nephew and wife, Stephen and Becky Doody, his niece and husband Pauline (Doody) and Michael Cyr all of Washburn, his nephew and wife, Michael and Judy Doody of Houlton, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, James and Adeline Plissey.
There will be no calling hours. Committal services will be held in the spring.
Many heartfelt thanks go to the intensive care unit of the Aroostook Medical Center, Presque Isle and the intensive care unit at the Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor; their wonderful care and support night and day helped us very much. Also, the Life Flight personel who got Jamie to Bangor so quickly, and even checked in on him later to see how he was doing. We have many wonderful and talented people ready to help in times of need.
