Concert raises funds for hospital

This Saturday, March 24 at 7 p.m. Travis Humphrey and the Travis J. Humphrey Band will perform at the Millar Arena in Houlton. This fund-raising concert will support of the Health Services Foundation’s $1M campaign to assist Houlton Regional Hospital’s Nuclear Medicine Project.
   Opening act for the evening will begin at 7 p.m. with Mapleton’s very own international recording artist, Michaud who has put many songs together in tribute to some of his favorite singers as George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Jim Reeves, and Merle Haggard to name a few. April 2005 saw the debut of his first album titled “Country Memories.”
Michaud’s albums stay true to his roots by singing classic country ballads, with some upbeat songs.  His first Country Music Video was released the end of March 2006, and was the only one done to the song  “He Stopped Loving Her Today.”
The concert is from 7 – 9:30 p.m..  Tickets are general admission only at $10.
