PRESQUE ISLE – Maine Potato Growers (MPG), Inc. has announced the hiring of Noah Winslow as manager of the potato sales and grain departments.
Winslow joins MPG with a solid background in agriculture. Previously, he was state president of the Maine Future Farmers of America (FFA) Association. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Resource and Agribusiness Management from the University of Maine at Orono, and went on to Purdue University where he earned a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics.
“Noah Winslow comes to MPG with extensive sales skills and a full understanding of agriculture in the county,” said Joe Lallande, president and chief executive officer of MPG. “Noah also has outstanding analytical strengths and excellent communication skills. I am confident that he will be a real asset to our organization, and we look forward to working with him.”
Winslow’s primary responsibility will be as manager of the potato sales and grain departments. He will also be working as manager of corporate communications and strategic planning. This new position would have primary responsibility for developing consistent communication strategies to MPG’s customer base (including growers, commercial accounts and consumers).
