Roope makes dean

    CASTINE, Maine – Janelle Roope, of Presque Isle, was recently named to the dean’s list at Maine Maritime Academy for outstanding academic achievement in the first semester of the 2006-2007 academic year. Students named to the dean’s list earn a grade point average of 3.3 or above on a 4.0 scale.
Roope, a member of the class of 2008, is majoring in marine biology. She is a graduate of Presque Isle High School.
