Easton Recreation Calendar
Wednesday, June 6
Junior Activities will meet at the hall from 9:30 – 11 a.m. This program is open to all children ages 2 through the early childhood program. Parents are welcome to join us or enjoy the morning to their selves.
The seniors’ group will meet for exercise at 1 p.m. at the Manor Recreation Room. Please wear comfortable footwear and remember your water bottle.
Noah’s Ark, a Build-a-Bear Workshop, will be taking place after school until 4:30 p.m. at the hall. The cost is $10 and pre-registration is required.
Thursday, June 7
Kindergarten Only Program will meet at the elementary school from 1-2:30 p.m. The children will be participating in a Build-a-Bear Workshop. Parent volunteers are encouraged to attend.
Hershey Track and Field Practice after school at the elementary school until 4 p.m.
Friday, June 8
Junior Activities will meet at the hall from 9:30 – 11 a.m.
Summer Registration from 12-2:45 p.m. at the Town Office. Please come prepared knowing what your child wants to sign up for and with payments for each program. If you have not received a summer booklet please contact Hillary at 488-7704.
The elementary school gym will be open for junior high boys from 2:45-4:30 p.m. and for junior high girls from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Monday, June 11
Junior Activities will meet at the hall from 9:30 – 11 a.m.
Kids in the Garden will meet at the Odd Fellows Hall from 2:45 to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, June 12
Seniors will be having a BBQ at Hillary’s house at 11 a.m. Please bring a dish to share for picnic. If the weather cooperates we will be outside, please dress accordingly.
Hiking after school from 2:45-4:30 p.m. from the hall, please dress in layers and remember your sneakers.
Wednesday, June 13
Junior Activities will meet at the hall from 9:30 – 11 a.m.
The seniors’ group will meet for their first Matter of Balance class at 1 p.m. in the recreation room at the manor. Please wear appropriate footwear.
The children will be making Father’s Day gifts after school from 2:45 until 4:30 p.m. at the hall.
Easton school registration
Easton School Department is now accepting registration for children entering kindergarten or ECP in the fall of 2007.
All Easton children who are 5 years old (on or before Oct. 15, 2007) are eligible for enrollment in the kindergarten class. All Easton children who are 4 years old (on or before Oct. 15, 2007) are eligible for the ECP (Early Childhood Program) class.
Please call the Easton Elementary School at 488-7700 to register your child for either of the above classes. The classroom teacher will notify parents/guardians when an informational meeting for parents is scheduled.
The following documents are required by the state of Maine: (1) Proof of immunizations, (2) birth certificate (hospital copies are not acceptable).
These documents must be presented prior to the child beginning school.
