    PRESQUE ISLE – Spinney’s Color and Design Center in Presque Isle is the largest color center north of Boston, with more than 2,500 available colors to choose from within the store and with the ability to color match, the color options are endless. 
    Ralph Lauren is one of the biggest names in the fashion world, but it might not be well-known that this designer can also be a part of the home. The Ralph Lauren brand also carries a line of faux finishes that are available at Spinney’s Color & Design Center. The faux finishes displayed in the showroom at Spinney’s are easy to apply and provide a textured look without the hassle that wallpaper leaves when it is time to change the look of the room.  The staff at Spinney’s Color & Design Center will teach anyone who is interested the techniques used in applying the faux finishes that are available in the store.
     Spinney’s has scheduled a faux finish class free of charge to members of the public on Saturday, June 16, from 12-2p.m. at their Houlton Road location, adjacent to The Sled Shop.
     This class is not only designed to introduce each of the faux finishes available in the Lauren line, but students will get an opportunity for hands-on application of the techniques used to create the looks in their own homes. Everyone attending the class will also receive special discount pricing on the Ralph Lauren line of paint products.
