Students named to UMFK dean’s list

  FORT KENT, Maine – Dr. Rachel E. Albert, vice president for academic affairs at the University of Maine at Fort Kent, has announced that 284 students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2007 semester.
   Students attaining the honor must be degree candidates, enrolled as a full-time student, and must maintain a 3.25 grade point average on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
Local students who made the list include: Eagle Lake – Christina Forino, Danielle Forino, Donna Jean Parent and Claire Saucier; Easton – Paula Jean Bacon; and Presque Isle – Jordan Carmichael and Susan Plissey.
P.I. resident named to dean’s list at Saint Michael’s
    COLCHESTER, Vt. – Jessica R. Currier, daughter of Richard and Susan Currier, of Presque Isle, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2007 semester at Saint Michael’s College. Currier is a sophomore political science major at the liberal arts, residential Catholic college located in the Burlington area of Vermont. Students who complete a minimum of 12 credits and achieve a grade point average of at least 3.4 at the end of a semester are recognized for their scholarship by inclusion on the dean’s list.
Area residents named to Honors List at Saint Joseph’s College
Sarah Francoeur, of Presque Isle, was named to the honors list for the spring semester at Saint Joseph’s College in Standish. The Honors List includes students with a 3.0 to 3.49 grade point average.
