Donovan-Johnson announce their marriage

Daniel and Nancy Donovan of Presque Isle are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Danielle Kelly Donovan to Benjamin Ross Johnson, son of Melinda McCain of Indianapolis, Ind., and Richard Johnson of Seattle, Wash.     The couple exchanged vows on February 23, 2007, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Presque Isle.
Danielle graduated from Presque Isle High School and the University of Maine with her masters degree in spatial information science and engineering.
Benjamin graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis, Ind., and Cornell University with degrees in biology and classics.
The maid of honor was Kathryn Laverdiere of Milford, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Condon of Presque Isle, Lindsay Rice of Portland, Janeen Shepard of Brunswick and Jennifer Hitchcock of Caribou, all friends of the bride.
The best man was Timothy Cherry of Lincoln, Neb., friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Peter Mattison of Boston, Mass., Seth Knowles of Winthrop, both friends of the groom, Darren Donovan of Presque Isle, brother of the bride, and  Andrew Descoteaux of Biddeford, cousin of the bride.
Flower girls were Gabriella and Amelia Donovan of Presque Isle, nieces of the bride. Ring bearers were Noah and Leif Kammer of Tularosa, N.M., nephews of the groom.
The bride and groom are employed at Hampden Academy as science and Latin teachers, respectively.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Italy and reside in Hampden.
