PRESQUE ISLE – Individuals who rely on the Lifeline service for help in an emergency will have the opportunity to gather and interact with those responsible for ensuring clients’ safety on a daily basis.     The Aroostook Medical Center Lifeline program will be hosting its annual appreciation dinner on Friday, Oct. 5, at the Presque Isle Inn & Convention Center. The dinner provides an opportunity for Lifeline customers to meet, socialize and celebrate the success of this life-saving program.
Lifeline provides emergency response services to around 550 customers from throughout Aroostook County, from the St. John Valley to Sherman. Those services allow seniors and those living with a disability to feel more comfortable living an independent life. Without such a service, many would face a life restricted to a nursing home.
The dinner is limited to Lifeline customers and their guests. Past events have been well-attended and organizers believe this year’s event will see a good turnout.
For more information on the dinner, contact the TAMC Public Relations office at 768-4012.
