A personal thank you

To the editor:
    I owned and operated WBK Taxi Service in Presque Isle during the 1980s and am proud to say that my grandson, Ryan Brown, has owned and operated his own business — Brownie’s Taxi Service  — in the Star City and surrounding area since 10 May 2007.     Ryan and his drivers try very hard to provide customers with the kind of service they deserve and need. However, sometimes due to cars needing repairs and regular maintenance, employee sickness and other problems, it is difficult to pick up the customer at the exact time it is requested. This, of course, causes inconvenience and disappointment for the customer.
    I hope Brownie’s customers will continue to show patience as they have shown in the past and will continue to use the service. Ryan will continue to try and provide good, clean and comfortable vehicles with drivers who are courteous and helpful in meeting customers’ transportation needs.
