Below: a group of students with instructors Tammy Matula and Mike Brombosz as they prepare to launch canoes. The 13 youth and adults from Mill Pond School traveled to Living Waters in Weston to participate in Maine Youth Field Days sponsored by the Eastern Maine 21st. CCLC Rural Consortium of After School Programs. Students from around the region enjoyed a trapping demonstration, ATV safety, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing, and target shooting with laser rifles. Lunch was provided by the staff of Living Waters and each student left with a Field Days t-shirt and a small bag of freebies provided by Inland Fisheries.
