Gordon joins Katahdin Cedar Log Homes

    OAKFIELD — Gabe Gordon has joined Katahdin Cedar Log Homes as Marketing Communications Manager. He will be leveraging the experience gained at his previous position with EMG3, one of Maine’s largest event and mobile marketing agencies, where he developed and executed marketing campaigns for top consumer goods companies, including Levi Strauss, Dockers, Olympus and Wal-Mart.
    Gordon is the third generation of his family to work at Katahdin. The cedar log home manufacturing company was started by his grandfather, Foster, and his father, David Gordon, is the company’s president.
    “I am so pleased to have Gabe join our growing team,” David Gordon said. “His national marketing experience will prove to a tremendous asset in so many areas of our expanding business.”
    Beginning in his teenage years, Gabe grew up working in most key areas of Katahdin, from millwork to shipping and receiving. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major in marketing and advertising from St. Joseph’s College of Maine in Standish. He will be based in a satellite office in Portland.
