1:04 p.m. Preston Drive – Noise – Female caller reported her neighbor was making too much noise and that her infant was not able to sleep. Action – An officer spoke with the female caller’s neighbor, who agreed to turn her music down.
7:47 p.m. Van Buren Road – Harassment – Female caller from a local hospital reported a male subject was verbally harassing the emergency room staff.
Action – An officer spoke with the male subject who was trying to speak with his wife, who did not want to speak with him. He was advised to leave. The male subject later came into the station to write a statement to use in civil court.
Saturday, Dec. 1
10:02 a.m. Main Street – Motor Vehicle Complaint – Caller reported vehicles parked on Main Street too close to the Roberts Street intersection, obstructing the view for vehicles coming from Roberts Street.
Action – An officer checked the area, and thought the church was having some sort of function and that there was no real parking problem.
11:10 p.m. High Street – Noise – Female caller reported her neighbor has a set of drums that he plays each night and it is quite annoying.
Action – An officer spoke with the female caller’s neighbor, who reported that they were not aware of the time, and agreed to call it quits for the night.
Sunday, Dec. 2
6:23 p.m. Access Highway – Speak to Officer – Female caller reported that a male subject had her DVD player and would not give it back.
Action – An officer spoke with the male subject and returned the DVD player to the female caller.
Tuesday, Dec. 4
5:09 a.m. Orgen Road – 9-1-1 Hang-Up – A 9-1-1 hang-up was received from an Orgen Road residence. An officer called back and spoke with a male subject who said the phone was in the bed and a button must have been accidentally pushed. The officer also spoke with the male subject’s girlfriend who gave the same report.
Wednesday, Dec. 5
11:50 a.m. Route 1 – Traffic Hazard – Caller reported that someone had plowed snow out into the road causing a traffic hazard south of the Buck Road.
Action – An officer checked the area and found the snow had been cleaned up already.
11:48 a.m. By-pass – Animal – Male caller reported seeing a black fox with bald patches cross the road, and thought it might be rabid.
Action – An officer checked the area, but didn’t see the animal.
Thursday, Dec. 6
11:50 p.m. Sweden Street – Building Check – While checking a local high school a door was found to be open, with a vehicle parked out back. Footprints were also noticed between the car and the building.
Action – The building was checked over further and found to be secure.
