TrioUpward Bound will host an open house Wednesday, Dec. 19 from 1-3 p.m. in Preble Hall, Suite 16. Upward Bound was awarded $2.4 million in grant funding last spring which it will use over the course of four years to maintain three staffed offices – the University of Maines at Presque Isle, and at Fort Kent, and at the Houlton Higher Education Center.
The open house will showcase the new space paid for by the grant funding. It allows the program to go from serving 69 students in 11 County schools to serving 119 students in 16 County high schools.
