HOULTON, Maine – Students wishing to enroll in a course or to begin work on a degree program still have time to register before the start of the 2008 spring semester at University College at Houlton. The semester will begin January 14.
University College at Houlton offers courses from Maine’s seven public universities on-site, online, via interactive television and videoconference. Students also can attend classes at sites in Danforth and Island Falls.
Each semester, University College at Houlton offers local access to courses leading to 37 degrees and certificate programs. Courses in education, health and human services, business, nursing, library science, counseling, and the liberal arts are a regular part of each semester’s schedule.
University College advisors provide career counseling and assist students with financial aid applications, course registrations, book orders, computer access, and more. Financial aid is available for qualified students, as are university scholarships.
