McLaughlin, Helen F., 87, December 13, 2007.  Arrangements by Homosassa Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes, Homosassa, Florida.
    HOMOSASSA, FL and SEBAGO LAKE, ME – Helen F. McLaughlin, 87, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, in Crystal River, FL. She was born Aug. 13, 1920, in Bridgewater, to Joseph and Iva M. (Brown) Bradstreet.
    Mrs. McLaughlin was a personal cook and former owner of a restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows, especially “Emeril”. She also looked forward to and enjoyed her many visits from her children and grandchildren.
    She was a member or St. Benedict Catholic Church, Crystal River, and the American Legion, Tampa.
    Mrs. McLaughlin was preceeded in death by her husband, Benjamin S. McLaughlin; son, Carl Farley; two grandsons, Robbie and Chris; five brothers, John, William, Vernon, George, and Duncan; and two sisters, Hilda Morse and Christine Heresy. Survivors include one son, Elmer Farley and wife Sue of Buxton; three daughters, Rena Rairdon and husband Paul of Westbrook, Marie Pishnak and husband Jack of Carson City, NV, and Georgene Collins of Homosassa, FL; sister, Delia Watson of Norridgewock; sister-in-law, Allowee Bradstreet of FL; eleven grandchildren, Catherine, Carol, Danny, Gary, Ryan, George and Linda of Maine, Steven and Trudy of Florida, and Richard and Lisa of Nevada; twenty-five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; special nieces, Susan Bradstreet and Arlene Kinney; and many nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held at Homosassa Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes, Monday, January 14, 2008, at 10 a.m. with Father Mike Suszynski of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Crystal River, officiating.
