Local students recognized

    Talbot named to dean’s list
    BIDDEFORD/PORTLAND – McKenzie L. Talbot, daughter of Doug and Theresa Talbot of Presque Isle, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2007 fall semester at the University of New England, having attained a grade point average of 4.0 at the end of the semester. A 2005 graduate of Presque Isle High School, Talbot, a senior, is majoring in medical biology/pre-physical therapy. Hotham named to dean’s list
    WEST HAVEN, Conn. – Melissa A Hotham, of Presque Isle, was named to the dean’s list at the University of  New Haven for the fall 2007 semester. Full-time undergraduate students must have a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA for the semester to be eligible for the dean’s list.
    Gosselin named to dean’s list
    LYNDON CENTER, VT. – Randi Gosselin, of Mars Hill, earned a place on the Lyndon State College dean’s list for the fall semester. Gosselin, the son of Michael and Robin Gosselin, is majoring in nursing. He graduated from Central Aroostook High School in 2003.     For inclusion on the dean’s list, a student must have completed at least 12 graded credits with no incomplete or failing grades and a minimum grade-point average of 3.5.
