DENVER — Grand Mesa Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center was transformed in to a Winter Wonderland when Greg Leonard, General Manager, announced the prestigious award of Manager of the Year at the recent Hyatt Employees Awards Banquet.
AWARDED — Greg Leonard, General Manager, presents the prestigious Manager of the Year award to Elizabeth Fitzpatrick-Caldas at the recent Hyatt Employees Awards Banquet in Denver.
Elizabeth Fitzpatrick-Caldas, selected Manager of the Year, was awarded a commemorative plaque and cash award for recognition of her exemplary performance and promotions within the hotel.
Fitzpatrick-Caldas began her Hyatt career as a food and beverage supervisor in 2004. As she worked her way to assistant restaurant manager, Liz proved to be a leader through challenging times.
“I have a tremendous passion for the hospitality business and chose Hyatt because of their reputation for being the best in the business” says Liz.
She knows and believes that the staff, hotel and above all else, the guests, deserve the very best.
“Her passion for the hotel and its mission are contagious which makes her a wonderful asset for Hyatt Hotels,” comments Leonard.
Daughter of Leo and Christy Fitzpatrick of Houlton, she currently resides with her husband, Yupanqui, in Denver, Colo. but looks forward to the time when she can return to Maine to open her own bed and breakfast.
