Jodi Howe, of Presque Isle, and Kevin Cyr, of Caribou, were united in marriage Sept. 1, 2007, at the State Road Advent Christian Church, in Presque Isle. Jodi is the daughter of Freeman and Phyllis Howe. Kevin is the son of Roger and Pat Cyr.
Revs. Greg Moody and Rene Tichnor officiated the ceremony.
Matron of honor was Laura Howes, of Ashland, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were: Melody Evans, of Brainerd, Minn., friend of the bride; Pam Howe, of Coxsackie, N.Y., and Jessica Howe, of Washburn, both sister-in-laws of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Kylie Haines, of Washburn, niece of the bride. Flower girls were: Shayna and Haylie Howe, of Coxsackie, N.Y., and Alyssa Howe, of Washburn, all nieces of the bride. B.J. McDonald, of Sellersville, Pa., served as the bridal assistant.
Best man was Mark Cyr, of Caribou, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were: Joseph Butler, of Brunswick, cousin of the groom; Cale Jones, of Presque Isle, and Taylor Sutherland, of Caribou, friends of the groom. Ushers were: Millage Howe, of Coxsackie, N.Y., and Joshua Howe, of Washburn, brothers of the bride; Benjamin Cuthbertson, of Limestone, cousin of the groom; and Tyler Burts, of Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, friend of the groom. Junior ushers were Owen Howe and Freeman Howe, of Coxsackie, N.Y., nephews of the bride.
The reception was held at the church social hall. Rev. Ken Fox gave a blessing before the meal. Soloist was Bernice Howes. Pianist was Sherry Calhoun.
Out-of-state guests included: Massachusetts – Hughie and Linda McCready; Ken, Josie and Travis Butler. Connecticut – Donna Keene, Jill Cordani and Dana Cyr. Rhode Island – Dan and Lisa Torgan. Colorado – Mark and Jill Evans. Indiana – Vivian Cyr.
After a honeymoon in the White Mountains, the couple now reside in Caribou.
