The Caribou Public Library will be celebrating National Library Week, April 13-19.     During this period the library will be hosting a number of activities including an art display by
Marty Gallant. The local artist will have a number of his works on display that depict watercolor landscapes of Aroostook County.
This library celebration will also include drawings for T-shirts and door prizes. Prizes will also be given to those signing up for a library card for the first time.
The public facility will be featuring the newly created DVD on M.A.R.V.E.L. (Maine’s Virtual Library), which provides every Maine resident 24-hour access to newspapers, magazines, journals, reference books and much more.
On Friday, April 18, library users are invited to stop by for refreshments from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Those desiring additional information are asked to contact the Caribou Public Library at 493-4214.
