AWA wrestling comes to Forum

    AWA Pro Wrestling presents “Super Clash at the Forum” on Wednesday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. with the doors opening at 7 p.m.
    The night of wrestling will feature the WWE’s Honky Tonk Man. The Honky Tonk Man will be entertaining fans with his singing, dancing and wrestling. Also on the card is Sammy Makua. Makua was a winner on ABC’s Fat March. 

Makua has become an inspiration to many people through his hard work, and shows fans his love of professional wrestling with an infectious smile.
    The “Sports Illustrated Legend” Robbie Ellis will also be wrestling on the card. 64-year-old Ellis has wrestled throughout the world for over 35 years. He uses experience as his ultimate weapon to gain victories.
    The event will feature a No Disqualification Tables Match. “Enforcer” Larry Huntley will defend the AWA North Atlantic Heavyweight Championship against “Jivin’” Jimmy Capone. Also, Luke Robinson will defend the AWA North Atlantic Television Championship. Others in attendance will include Kenneth Banks and Mervin Greenwald.
    “When AWA Pro Wrestling debuts in Presque Isle, we are going to pull out all of the stops to have a great night,” said Commissioner Damian Main. “Super Clash at the Forum is going to be a night that every fan in attendance will remember for a long, long time. With all of the great matches we are going to have, the entire AWA locker room and all of the great fans from Aroostook County, I know we are going to prove why we are the best wrestling company in all of Maine.”
    Advance general admission tickets are only $10. Front row tickets are $15, and are only available in advance. Advance tickets are available at the Forum and Industrial St. One-Stop in Presque Isle, Dead River Food Trend in Caribou, York’s Bookstore in Houlton and Ezzy’s Music Shop in Van Buren. Tickets are also available at the door for $13.
