Scott Mitchell Johnson  talked to students at Presque Isle Middle School
“What is the most important art of a car?”
“I’d have to go with the seat belt because it saves peoples’ lives. Generally it will protect you if you get into an accident.”

“Right now, I think the most important thing to put in a car is the seat belt to keep people safe. If people are in car accidents, they’re less likely to get hurt.”

“I would say the outside of the car … the appearance. Yeah, your car might be an old car, but if you change that old car into a nice, nice car on the outside, then it will sweeten it.”

“I think all the parts of a car are important because they all combine together to make the entire car, and when one of the parts go missing, it really
doesn’t work anymore. Of all the parts, I think the engine is the most important because it’s what makes the car go. It runs everything in the car.”

“The most important part of a car, I think, would be the engine because that’s what makes it go.  If there’s no engine, you won’t go anywhere.”

“Probably the engine. Without the engine, you won’t be able to have the pistons generate enough heat to spark up the gas to move the car.
The wheels are also important because without them, you won’t be able to move.”
