American Legion Post #47 places flags

   Crews from American Legion Post 47 on Bangor Street spent time Saturday placing close to 1,000 flags on the graves of veterans buried in the Houlton cemeteries. In addition to Evergreen and St. Mary’s Cemeteries, flags were placed at cemeteries on the Foxcroft and White Settlement roads.
    Those helping with the flags include, from left: Shirley Smith, Valerie Davenport, Lori Rondyke, Peter Roach, Mark Rondyke, Seth Gerber, Kenny Lee and Corinne Mooers. Those not pictured include: Kimberly Hardy, Paul McGillicuddy, Paul Mac Donald, Cary Suitter, Jay Welton, Cliff Davenport, Brady Tompkins, Gerald Riley, Hank Lemerise, Paul Gentle and Anne Adams.
