IN HONOR OF — Valerie Davenport places a flag in one of the markers at Soldier’s Hill, a veterans’ section in Evergreen Cemetery. Davenport, and others with American Legion Post 47, spent some time Saturday placing close to 1,000 flags on the graves of veterans buried in the Houlton cemeteries.
