The Aroostook County Branch of the American Red Cross-Pine Tree Chapter is sponsoring a CPR and First Aid training course on Saturday, June 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Cary Medical Center. Participants may learn how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants. First aid skills include treating a variety of injuries such as burns, wounds, head, neck and back injuries, and heat and cold-related emergencies. Also included are learning how to manage sudden illnesses, stroke, seizure, bites and poisoning.
