Wednesday, June 18
4:15 p.m. Bradley Street — Motor Vehicle Complaint — Caller reported a male operating a maroon vehicle on Bradley Street came flying around the corner, scaring her son. A second vehicle was right behind him doing the same thing. Caller requested police to tell them to stop speeding before someone gets hurt.
    Action — Officer issued written warnings to both operators. 4:51 p.m. Bennett Drive — Motor Vehicle  Complaint — Caller reported a male individual and gang are parked in the parking lot of a local business and need to be told to leave. Caller does not want them back in the area and has posted three more signs. Officer advised caller that several of the subjects have scanners and police would try to watch the parking lot more closely.
    Action — Office told subjects to move along. This was one of many times subject has been told not to park there. Officer advised subject to park where there isn’t a Police Department, like Caswell and subjects responded they might start parking at the Caribou Police Department parking lot.
8:46 p.m. Bennett Drive — Criminal Trespass — Caller advised police of not wanting anymore loitering in the parking lot of a local business. If officers see a gathering, caller requested to have told to move along. Day or night. Caller was quite verbal and vocal with the request in front of offending subjects.
    Action — Police moved  about 12 vehicles and 25 or so juveniles. The usual crowd.
Thursday, June 19
1:55 p.m. Teague Park — Disorderly Conduct — Police were informed of a group of subjects at the playground where the kids play, using very foul language causing adults to leave with their children.
    Action — Officer told caller they would check the area and have subjects move away from the young kid sif they were going to talk trash.
10:04 p.m. Hillcrest Avenue — Disorderly Conduct — Caller informed police of an individual who lives in the house behind her residence just fired two shots with a firearm. Believes subject may have been shooting at a skunk due to the odor now in the area.
    Action — Officer will check the area and attempt to determine the subject’s identity.
Friday, June 20
12:18 p.m. Bennett Drive — Concerned Citizen — Caller from a local business advised of a young male sitting outside by a trash can, screaming every minute or so. Caller was concerned as to subject’s well being and requested officer to be present.
    Action — Prior to officer arriving at location, citizen called back reporting the subject had gotten into a vehicle and advised police of the license number.  Registration  was a medical facility in Eagle Lake, which has an office on Bennett Drive. Officer was unable to locate vehicle, called office leaving a message.
1:20 p.m. Washburn Street — Noise Complaint — Caller reported someone in the adjacent apartment building playing drums very loudly, stating, “it would not be quite so bad if they knew how to play.”
Action — Office issued a written warning to subject, advising he would be summonsed if there was a reoccurrence.
4 p.m. — Noyes Road — ATV Complaint — Caller advised of a group of juveniles on the bridge behind a business doing doughnuts with 4-wheelers and a second group of juveniles were jumping off the bridge into the water.
    Action — Officer checked the area locating two ATVs and several juveniles in the roadway. Other ATVs were parked on the turnout by the bridge. Officer spoke to subjects regarding their obstruction of the roadway.
8:10 p.m. Lyndon Street — Suspicious Activity — Caller reported observing four male juveniles on each side of Lyndon Street, one of whom had what appeared to be a firearm in his back pocket.
    Action — Officer located subject who had an air-soft gun. Subject was advised to be more discreet when carrying of using the toy.
8:35 p.m. Bennett Drive — Theft — Caller from a local business advised police they had caught a shoplifter and requested an officer at the business.
    Action — Officer located female subject. Management was happy with criminal trespass warning being issued to subject due to her leaving the state before too long. Item believed to be concealed was a package of hair bands.
Saturday, June 21
10:10 p.m. York Street — Animal  Complaint — A male caller reported his neighbor’s dog went after his sister.    
    Action — Officer spoke with caller and his mother. Officer was informed that a neighbor has two pit bulls  and earlier in the evening they were loose and grabbed the clothing of caller’s sister. The neighbor witnessed this attack and tried getting the dogs to release the clothing, while doing so owner supposedly had gotten bit. Police advised all parties that the Animal Control Officer would be in contact the following day.
Monday, June 23
3:20 p.m. North Main Street — Juvenile Complaint — Caller from a local business advised police that two juveniles had just ridden their bicycles through the carwash while it was running. Caller was concerned they could be harmed.
6:26 p.m. York Street — Animal Complaint — Caller reported his neighbors pitbulls were loose again, growling and nipping at him. Caller believes they pose a danger to himself, his sister and his mother.
    Action — Animal Control Officer was contacted and given the information.
Tuesday, June 24
6:05 p.m. Teague Park — Assault — A female caller advising police her son had been hit by another boy with a board in Teague Park.
    Action — Victim had a mark on his lower leg but the family did not want to press charges but requested police to warn subject to stay away. Subject was warned.
Wednesday, June 25

11:34 p.m. Russ Street — Caller reported hearing a noise outside her residence, sounding like someone sneaking around trying to peak into the windows. Caller stated it was not an animal.
    Action — Officers checked the area and could not locate anyone. They would continue to patrol the area during the night.
Friday, June 27
9:45 a.m. High Street — Criminal Trespass — Caller advised police of three males at sprawled out at the gazebo behind the library and requested they be checked out and informed that that was not a camp site.
    Action — Officer located subjects who said they had walked from Connor and had gotten caught in the rain, they were just resting.
Saturday, June 28
3:56 p.m. Washburn Street — Animal Complaint — Caller reported a bear cub by itself had just crossed Washburn Street and went behind S.W. Collins, Co. Public safety also received a call that the cub was alone and was seen around the courthouse parking lot.
    Action — Officers will attempt to locate the cub and see if the sow bear may be irate and looking for her cub.
Sunday, June 29
12:40 p.m. Sweden Street — Theft — Caller advised police of witnessing a vehicle operator leave the church yard with pails of crushed stone- taking them to a residence.
    Action — Officer spoke with subject, informing her she had been seen taking the crushed rock and not to repeat this action. Subject’s excuse was it (rocks) were just piled up by the end of the driveway and not spread out so she didn’t think they would mind if some were taken. Officer informed subject they did mind and not to take anymore.
Monday, June 30
9:30 p.m. Bennett Drive — Disorderly Conduct — The owner of a local business advised several juveniles were destroying the parking lot by throwing trash on the ground.
