Library receives $10,000 pledge

    Officials with Thompson-Hamel, LLC have announced a $10,000 pledge to the Robert A. Frost Memorial Library capital campaign.

 

    The pledge was made in the honor of Arthur and Marilyn “Fritzie” Thompson with the vestibule of the newly renovated Limestone library bearing Mr. and Mrs. Thompson’s name.
    In a joint statement issued July 14 by Thompson-Hamel, LLC managing partners, John “Jay” Thompson and Brian N. Hamel, the company leaders said “it is our pleasure to support such a worthy community project in Limestone and an honor to recognize Art and Fritzie for their untiring commitment and passion to Limestone as life-long citizens.  The Robert A. Frost Memorial Library is an integral part of the greater Limestone community and we are pleased to assist in its efforts to enhance the physical structure and services of the library for the benefit of all its users.”
    Arthur Thompson founded the financial services firm of Thompson Associates in 1962 and remains an active partner in its successor entity, Thompson-Hamel, LLC.  Thompson-Hamel, LLC is a comprehensive financial services and estate planning firm, has approximately 5,000 clients and manages on behalf of these clients approximately $110 million of investment assets, as well as serving the life, disability income, and long-term care insurance needs of these clients.
