The Houlton Parks and Recreation Department had 17 youngsters participate in the state Hershey Track and Field meet on July 2 in Brewer.

TRACK PARTICIPANTS – Left, Isaiha Littleton competes in the standing long jump, coming in first for the 9-10-year-old division, while at right, Kyle Bouchard gets ready to wind up and let the ball fly in the softball throw of the state Hershey Track and Field Meet in Brewer. Bouchard also placed first in the softball throw and as part of the 4×100 meter relay team in the 11-12-year-old division.
Receiving awards in the following age groups were: 11-12 division, Kyle Bouchard, first place in softball throw and 4×100 relay: Isaac Cone, first in the standing long jump, 4×100 relay and second in 200-meter dash; Cameron J. Clark, fourth in 100-meter dash and first in the 4×100 relay; Devin McLaughlin, first in the 4×100 relay; Emily Mooers, second in the 4×100 relay, fourth in 400-meter dash and standing long jump; Taylor Graham, Allix Hanson and Lily Hanning, second in the 4×100 relay; Sarah Abbotoni, seventh in 100-meter dash and Destiny Russell, seventh in 200-meter dash.
In the 9-10-year-old age group, Isaiha Littleton, first in the standing long jump; Cameron E. Clark second in 50-meter dash, 100-meter dash and standing long jump; Hunter McLaughlin, fourth in the 400-meter dash; Amelia Hanning, Rylee Warman, Alexis Ireland and Sarah Delano, fourth in the 4×100 relay.
