Trident Ammunition new to area, but offers loads of experience

Though new to the Shiretown, Trident Ammunition has loads of experience, as they have been in business since 1999 in Scottsdale, AZ and Oregon City, OR.
“We recently relocated to the Houlton area to be near family,” said Shane Mowrey, Trident Ammunition manager.
The new business is located at 430 North Road, adjacent to Grand Rental Station and is owned by the Mowrey family.
The Mowreys’ focus is on developing the trust of a new retail customer base.
“Customer service is important, but so is product knowledge and a professional attitude,” explained Mowrey. “Today’s customer is very complex. New products are constantly being developed and a retailer must keep up or they will fail to provide true customer service.”
Trident Ammunition carries firearms, ammunition, hunting and target shooting supplies, as well as providing gun repair. They also offer law enforcement supplies and tactical equipment.
They will hold NRA (National Rifle Association) certified classes, and have held federal licenses for the last 10 years to manufacture and sell machineguns and silencers.
“We provide classes, repairs and retail sales of our in-house, custom-loaded ammunition,” said Mowrey.     Trident Ammunition pursues police bids and their E-commerce site is www.tridentammunition.com.
The Mowreys also supply expert consulting services for the firearms industry.
“We provide a wide range of quality products and services,” said Mowrey. “We are sure customers will find our prices competitive and our knowledge and service a cut above.”
Trident Ammunition has two fulltime employees, along with four part time workers, and will be open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. They can be reached by calling 532-4764, e-mail at www.tridentammunition@yahoo.com. or visit their Web site at www.tridentammunition.com.
“With many years of service to competitive shooters, law enforcement and collectors, we are confident Houlton will be a great new home,” Mowrey said.
