Providing true customer support

PRESQUE ISLE – Aroostook Orthotics and Prosthetics has been giving customers support for the last eight and-a-half years.
“We provide everything from inserts, orthopedic and diabetic shoes, mastectomy bras and forms, arms and legs (upper and lower prosthetics), back braces, hand braces, knee braces, ankle braces, fracture shoes, wound shoes, and neck braces,” said owner Donna L. Gallant.

“We offer the latest state-of-the-art upper and lower limbs by a certified prosthetist,” she said. “Most insurances pay if orthotics and prosthetics are fitted by a board certified person with an accredited office. Look for this when you are in need of this type of care.”
Gallant said her company’s secret to success is “close to home service.”
“Because we are the local, full service, close-to-home board certified and accredited orthotic and prosthetic business in Aroostook County,” she said, “we can service patients faster and easier with a home office and five outside clinics weekly.”
In addition to Gallant, the business employs Peggy Ross, certified coder/administrative secretary; Mark Picurro, CPO; and Jim Gallant, maintenance.
Aroostook Orthotics and Prosthetics is open from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, stop by their 40 North St., Suite 6, location or call 762-3808 or e-mail aonp@verizon.net.
