PERHAM – Charlene M. Dickinson, 83, died August 13, 2008, at an Eagle Lake health-care facility. She was born in Presque Isle, October 12, 1924, the daughter of Joseph and Alice (Goven) Tardy.
She was a member of the Perham Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Elwin Roy Dickinson of Perham; a son, David E. Dickinson and his wife, Frieda of Ashland and step-son, Willard M. Dickinson of Portage; a daughter and her husband, Brenda and David Boyce of Bucksport; three grandchildren and their spouses, Scott and Jennifer Dickinson, Lt. Col. Rick Dickinson and his wife, Major Carla Dickinson, and Ginger and Donald Lundgren; four great-grandchildren, David Dickinson, Shelby Dickinson, Orion Lundgren, Britni Lundgren; a sister, Mary Jane Gaudreau and her husband, Leon of East Granby, CT. She was predeceased by two brothers, Hanford Tardy and Michael Goven; two sisters, Violey Jordan and Kathleen Stafford.
Funeral services were held 12 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Perham Baptist Church with the Rev. Dave Goupille officiating. Relatives and friends called from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Perham. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
