Tidd, Marie E., 80, September 20, 2008.  Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment was held in the Hodgdon Cemetery.
    Hodgdon – Mary E. Tidd,  80, wife of Dana L. Tidd passed away at Houlton Regional Hospital on September 20, 2008. Mary was born Mary Eldie Carmichael in Monticello on May 5, 1928, daughter of Ernest and Florence (Upton) Carmichael.
    She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Carol J. (Tidd) Nault and her husband, Michael, of Arundel; five sons and their wives, Carleton and Andrea, Brian (Barney) and Bonnie, David and Jean, Grady and Anita all of Hodgdon, and Wayne and Connie of Houlton; thirteen grandchildren, Stacy, Scott, Stephanie, Dayna and Jacob Tidd, Isaac, Joshua and Rachel Nault, Hollie and Tim McAfee, Angela and Gregory Sherman, Morgan and Jared Drake, Andrew and Darcy Tidd and Marc and Bekah Tidd; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Vera Carmichael; many nieces and nephews; and one "sister she never had," Donalene Blackie. Mary was predeceased by her parents and all her brothers, Glen, Harold, Jack and Perley.
    Friends called at the Dunn Funeral Home Tuesday 12 noon until the time of the service 1 p.m. Rev. Robert Boyer of Naples was the officiate. Interment was in the Hodgdon Cemetery.
